KenzFigee has the pleasure to announce the appointment of Maikel Takken as CEO of KenzFigee as per 1 October 2021.

Maikel will take over the position from Jan-Pieter Klaver, who has led the organization since his appointment in 2017. Jan Pieter will remain as advisor to the board until the end of this year and will support Maikel in his new role.

Jan-Pieter has led the organisation the last 4 years with passion and energy through a successful transition to broaden KenzFigee’s position in the offshore industry and renewable market.

Maikel Takken started his career in the heavy lift industry 15 years ago and joined MeeMaken in 2013. Maikel gained technical, commercial and managerial experience working in multiple positions both nationally and internationally. Since 2017 he has successfully led Alltec Lifting Systems in Houston. Maikel has an impressive curriculum and the right skillset to further develop KenzFigee to be the preferred supplier for cranes and equipment.

MeeMaken, since 2016 major shareholder of KenzFigee, says: “KenzFigee has strengthened its position into a valuable provider in the offshore crane and equipment market over the last 4 years.
