Transport modified 300t crane for Seafox4
After a successful refurbishment by Kenz Crane Services, the KenzFigee built and modified boom hoist offshore pedestal crane destined for the jack-up unit ‘Seafox 4’, has been transported to Rotterdam last week.
Kenz Crane Services installed the crane and replaced the slew bearing and shortened the boom, which originally had a boom length of 87 meter. This was the longest boom ever built by KenzFigee. The sheaves, pumps, engines and 3-engines have been checked and revised when necessary.
The Seafox 4 is operated by Workfox, who operates a versatile fleet of self-elevating jack-up units, has been contracted by Shell in the UK.
