GenHook™ offshore up-tower crane
After an extensive development process, KenzFigee launched its first generation up-tower crane for offshore application in 2022. This GenHook™ offshore up-tower crane with a lifting capacity of up to 30mT is able to perform generator and gearbox exchanges and repairs.

The development and launch of this offshore rated up-tower crane is a direct result of high market demand for a more efficient solution for offshore wind turbine major component exchanges and repairs. By using KenzFigee’s onshore-proven up-tower crane technology, smaller jack-up barges and offshore vessels can be deployed, avoiding the use of costly conventional units.

BoxHook™ offshore up-tower crane
Following the successful launch of the GenHook™ up-tower crane, KenzFigee is currently developing the zero-emission BoxHook™ up-tower crane with a Safe Working Load capacity ranging from 85 up to 130mT for deployment in the 3MW wind turbine range.

It’s expected that the BoxHook™ up-tower crane for offshore application will be launched in 2024.
